C Enes Kanter's New York Knicks Contract That He Signed In 2015 With The Oklahoma City Thunder For 4 Years $70.06M Gave Him The Opportunity To Either Play Out His Last Year (2018-19 Season) for the final $18.6M or become a free agent in 2018 for possibly a team to pick Kanter up. Yet, there was a little drama included in this decision. With 24 hours left for Enes Kanter to decide, all of the top twitter reporters such as , Ian Begly, Shams Charnia, and even Adrian Wojnarowski were letting their opinions out on Kanter's decision, Enes Kanter decided to tweet a deer emoji (shown on the photograph), hinting a possible opting-out and maybe even becoming a Milwaukee Buck! The entire Twitter community as a whole quickly changed their minds or at least thought about Kanter becoming a Buck. After all of this, Kanter deleted the tweet no later then 2 minutes later, for only 1-1.5M NBA fans to view. A few hours later Enes Kanter broke the Knicks' headlines by opting-in to his final $18.6M year. Bucks fans grew angry after thinking they secured a top 50 center. After all of the drama and anger simmered down, Kanter publicly spoke about the situation with Royce Young on August 29 stating, "You gotta mess with the media a little," he said of the situation. "Because I know I was not going to go to the Milwaukee Bucks. It's the Milwaukee Bucks. Unless they give you good, good money, then go, but you don't leave New York for Milwaukee."! Many programs and player reacted to this such as Bleacher Report. Many Bucks fans also chimed in with excitement replies to Kanter's tweet. In the end Kanter is still a Knick, and whom loves New York City, and will not be a Buck after all.
